Next 1-3 July 2014, Caritas Europa will welcome institutional development experts from across the network to the Institutional Development (ID) Forum to show what what the network has to offer them in the field of institutional development. Notably management standards, EU funding opportunities, fundraising, organisational development and capacity building.

The ID Forum will take place in Setubal, Portugal.

1. Objectives of the forum

  • Strengthen Caritas Europa’s member organisations’ ownership of our common strategy in the field Institutional Development.
  • Strengthen Caritas Europa’s member organisations’ knowledge of the series of tools available in Caritas Europa in the field of Institutional Development.
  • Common understanding of Caritas Europa Secretariat’s communion with the members of the network: Accompaniment.
  • Increased awareness of the added value of sharing expertise and skills amongst members and the facilitating role of the Secretariat in this process.
  • Increased participation of member organisations in Institutional Development processes decided by the Regional Conference.

2. For whom

  1. Key people in Caritas organisations dealing with Institutional Development issues, who are in a position to engage her/his organisation.
  2. Members involved in funding and fundraising.
  3. Members of all Institutional Development working groups: Capacity Building (CB), Common Management Standards (CMS) and Caritas Development Fund (CDF).

Maximum 2 people per Caritas organisation can register.
