About Caritas Luxembourg
Caritas Luxembourg acts for the well-being of people in Luxembourg and around the world, in particular for those who are excluded, distraught and destitute – regardless of their origin, their age, their nationality or their philosophical or religious opinions. Support of vulnerable groups is the primary concern: single-parent families, children and youth, migrants and refugees, disadvantaged persons, homeless people or those with precarious housing or income situations, or persons temporarily unable to manage their lives. On an international level, Caritas Luxembourg provides emergency aid to victims of natural disasters and violent conflicts, sustains reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts and conducts development projects.
Caritas Luxembourg is composed of four associations: Fondation Caritas Luxembourg, Caritas Accueil et Solidarité asbl, Caritas Jeunes et Familles asbl and Caritas Enfants et Familles asbl. These four associations operate together under the name Caritas Luxembourg.
Caritas Luxembourg is a member of the Confédération Caritas Luxembourg, whose aim is to assist its members in theological, ethical and moral questions, as well as in important social issues.
