Caritas Hellas participated in the Walk for Freedom that was carried out on Saturday 19 October 2019 by the organisation Α21 Greece, celebrating the European day against human trafficking.

Every October thousands of people around the world walk for freedom with the intention to inform citizens about human trafficking. The walk was conducted at 500 different places all over the world and at 11 different areas in our country. Everyone who attended wore black clothes and walked silently as a sign of moral support to the victims of human trafficking.

The two social centers of Caritas Hellas, together with the Psychosocial Empowerment Group of the social center of Kipseli and the Women’s Group of the Social Center of Neos Kosmos and the employees declared freedom and hope for all people who are suffering any kind of slavery.
