Why is this important?
People are ultimately the holders and sharers of knowledge and play different roles in its generation, capture, storage and use. Fostering a culture which values knowledge and learning often requires behavioural and cultural change at individual, team and organisational levels. This in turn requires structured opportunities for staff to learn about KM concepts; to see how KM links to organisational priorities, tools and practices and to know what the KM expectations are for their function/role.
