Training on social impact measurement

12-14 June 2019

The objective of the training is to increase the capacity of Caritas Europa member organisations to measure, manage and communicate their social impact, in particular in relation with social economy enterprises and social innovation initiative towards job creation.

A key element in promoting social economy is to switch the mind-set away from measuring the success of economic activities looking only at the profit and economic impact. The ability to measure and demonstrate the importance and the depth of the impact of non-profit or social economy organisations on society in terms of reducing poverty, raising employability, promoting cohesive communities, safeguarding the environment, etc. is fundamental for pushing private sector and traditional economy actors into considering also impacts other than just economic ones.

This training is organised in cooperation with our members partners of ELBA project.
