Social Innovation retreat

The Social Innovation Working Group would like to invite Caritas colleagues working to advance innovation in their organisations for the first Social Innovation Retreat.

The Social Innovation Community Retreat will bring together a small group of around 15 participants –  Caritas colleagues working to advance innovation in their organisations together with members of the Social Innovation Working Group for a dedicated space to connect, reflect, and shape the future of social innovation within the Caritas network.

The retreat will create space to collectively explore a question many of us have been grappling with: how do we move from innovation tools, methodologies, and mindsets to meaningful action and change within our organisations and communities?

Through reflection, exchange, and collaborative problem-solving, participants will:

  • Explore how to put innovation approaches into practice in real organisational contexts
  • Build stronger peer support among innovation practitioners across the network
  • Share practical innovation challenges and learn from one another’s experiences
  • Contribute to shaping the direction and priorities of Caritas Europa’s social innovation work

With limited places available, the retreat is intended as an intimate and participatory experience that fosters trust, meaningful dialogue, and lasting connections among those leading innovation in Caritas.
